Anastasis

O novo álbum dos Dead Can Dance vai ser editado este Verão, com data marcada para dia 9 de Agosto. «Anastasis» é o primeiro trabalho de originais desde 1996 e é com base neste novo disco que o colectivo liderado por Brendan Perry e Lisa Gerrard realizará uma digressão mundial a ter início precisamente no dia 9 de Agosto na América do Norte (Canadá).
A reunião da banda australiana fundada – sob a actual designação – em 1981 segue-se a uma outra, levada a cabo em 2005, da qual resultou um conjunto de registos gravados ao vivo apenas disponíveis em CD no final de cada concerto e, posteriormente, via Internet.

Uma chamada de atenção para os habituais ouvintes de Rádio: não tentem escutar música dos Dead Can Dance em rádios nacionais. É impossível de encontrar!

The new album title is an ancient Greek word and its meaning is connected to the notion of rebirth.
