É a terceira vez que John Cale grava em estúdio o tema “(I Keep a) Close Watch”.
A primeira foi no álbum «Helen of Troy», de 1975, a segunda no seminal «Music for a New Society», em 1982 e agora no álbum «M:FANS» (com gravação realizada ainda em 2015).
Há ainda versões editadas ao vivo, mas das três, a que ficou para a História foi a de 1982.
