Diário de uma rapariga perdida

A cantora britânica Louise Rutkowski um tem novo trabalho. É o álbum «Diary of a Lost Girl».
Louise Rutkowski ficou mundialmente conhecida por ser uma das principais vozes (se não mesmo a principal) do projecto multi-colectivo This Mortal Coil, da editora independente 4AD.
A vocalista participou decisivamente nos álbuns «Filigree and Shadow» (1986) e «Blood» (1991), para além da sequela denominada The Hope Blister, no álbum «Smile’s Ok» (1998).
A viver perto de Glasgow, na Escócia, Louise Rutkowski reaparece agora a solo.
Segue-se nas imagens o vídeo de um dos temas do álbum «Diary of a Lost Girl», a canção "Friday Rain".

Ben Watt & Robert Wyatt 

Ben Watt, músico britânico mais conhecido por ser uma das partes dos Everything But The Girl, teve uma curta carreira a solo, antes mesmo de formar esse par de sucesso com a cantora Tracey Thorn.
Editou em 1983 um álbum intitulado «North Marine Drive» que teve como convidado e parceiro especial o já então consagrado músico Robert Wyatt.
O antigo líder dos Soft Machine participa em cinco temas compostos por Ben Watt.
Uma dessas canções chama-se "Walter And John" e é o encontro único do ainda membro dos Everything But The Girl com o também inglês Robert Wyatt, cuja carreira a solo remonta ao ano de 1974.
Esta parceria é de há trinta anos, no trabalho «North Marine Drive» de Ben Watt em dueto com a voz de Robert Wyatt.

Novo álbum dos DEAD CAN DANCE

Em plena digressão de «Anastasis», o disco de originais editado em Agosto do ano passado, os Dead Can Dance editam agora um registo ao vivo da primeira parte da passagem pela América do Norte ainda em 2012.

A actual digressão – a maior de sempre da dupla Brendan Perry e Lisa Gerrard – tem a duração de um ano (começou em Agosto passado e encontra-se com datas anunciadas até Julho deste ano). Já passou em Outubro por Portugal, num memorável concerto na Casa da Música no Porto e voltará ao nosso país em Maio e Junho deste ano.

O disco «In Concert» será oficialmente publicado no próximo dia 22 de Abril. 

Entretanto, no site oficial do grupo, foi ontem colocado à venda uma edição especial limitada de «In Concert», que esgotou logo na primeira hora.
